Lugano produced one of the round’s most striking away results, responding to an early setback with five goals in Spain.

Iván Azón put Getafe ahead in the second minute after intercepting a backpass, but Albian Ajeti equalised a minute later and set up Yanis Cimignani for the lead in the seventh. Ajeti scored again in the 26th, turning Getafe’s bright start into a 3⁠–⁠1 half-time deficit.

Uran Bislimi extended the advantage in the 50th minute. Borja Mayoral pulled a goal back in the 74th, but Kevin Behrens completed the scoring in added time after another defensive mistake.

Lugano moved to six points from two matches; Getafe remained on one.
