Paris Saint-Germain twice saw Barcelona draw level before two late goals secured a 4–2 win on Tuesday. Liverpool recovered from 2–0 down to beat Villarreal 4–3, while Phil Foden’s hat-trick led Manchester City to a 5–1 victory on a Champions League night that produced 40 goals in nine matches.

Late goals settle it in Paris
Joan García kept Barcelona in the game during an early spell of PSG pressure, but Désiré Doué put the hosts ahead in the 38th minute. Fermín López released Xavi Espart for the equaliser ten minutes after the restart.
Lucas Hernández headed PSG back in front from a corner in the 72nd minute. Lamine Yamal punished a Warren Zaïre-Emery error to make it 2–2 seven minutes later, but Barcelona were level for just two minutes. Vitinha struck in the 81st, and Fabián Ruiz converted Achraf Hakimi’s cross five minutes later.
García finished with 10 saves as Barcelona’s run of 11 straight wins at the start of the season ended. PSG made it three Champions League victories from three, although injuries to Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Marquinhos left them with concerns. Barcelona also lost Dani Olmo before half-time.

Ngumoha helps Liverpool recover
Villarreal were 2–0 up inside half an hour at Anfield. Georges Mikautadze capitalised on a misplaced Virgil van Dijk header in the fourth minute, and Sergi Cardona doubled the lead in the 29th.
Alexis Mac Allister began Liverpool’s response with a header from a Kostas Tsimikas corner in the 36th minute. Ronald Araújo then met Rio Ngumoha’s cross to equalise in first-half stoppage time.
Ngumoha provided his second assist in the 65th minute, setting up Mac Allister to put Liverpool ahead. Half-time substitute Florian Wirtz then made it 4–2. Tani Oluwaseyi scored in the 87th to leave Liverpool defending a one-goal lead, but they held on to join PSG on nine points.

Foden leads City past AEK
Enzo Maresca made eight changes and kept Erling Haaland on the bench as City beat AEK Athens 5–1.
Elliot Anderson opened the scoring in the 12th minute after Enzo Fernández’s free-kick hit the bar, and Foden added the second in the 34th. Stavros Pilios brought AEK back to within a goal shortly after the break, only for Rayan Cherki to restore City’s two-goal advantage in the 57th minute.
Foden scored again in the 65th, then turned in Ryan McAidoo’s cross in the 76th to complete his fourth hat-trick for the club.

First wins for Napoli and Roma
Scott McTominay scored twice as Napoli collected their first points with a 4–3 win over Bodø/Glimt.
Matteo Politano struck inside the opening minute, with Jens Petter Hauge replying in the 27th. McTominay made it 2–1 before half-time, but Andreas Helmersen brought Bodø/Glimt level again in the 62nd.
McTominay’s header put Napoli ahead for a third time in the 75th minute. Odin Bjørtuft’s own goal made it 4–2 late on, before Sondre Brunstad Fet scored in added time.
Roma recorded 26 shots to Slovan Bratislava’s one in a 4–0 victory. Mario Hermoso and Nahuel Molina scored before the interval, with Niccolò Pisilli and a Donyell Malen penalty completing the scoring in the second half. An injury to Lorenzo Pellegrini was the concern for Gian Piero Gasperini as Roma collected their first win of the league phase.

Slavia strike late and Guirassy delivers
Pavel Kačor scored in the 90th minute to earn Slavia Prague a 2–2 draw at Fenerbahçe. Oğuz Aydın and Mason Greenwood had put the hosts two goals ahead inside 11 minutes, but Lukáš Provod reduced the deficit before Kačor secured Slavia’s first point. Fenerbahçe remain without a win.
Serhou Guirassy scored both Dortmund goals in a 2–1 victory over Sabah in Baku. Aden McCarthy cancelled out his opener before half-time, but Guirassy met Joey Veerman’s cross in the 53rd minute for the winner.

Atlético hold on as PSV win at Porto
Atlético Madrid drew 1–1 at Stuttgart despite Morten Hjulmand’s dismissal in the 64th minute. Jamie Leweling put Stuttgart ahead before Julián Álvarez equalised early in the second half. Jan Oblak’s saves helped Atlético preserve a point, while Stuttgart stayed unbeaten on seven.
At Porto, Guus Til’s 57th-minute finish gave PSV a 1–0 win. Lutsharel Geertruida and Sergiño Dest both cleared off the line as the visitors protected their lead. PSV moved to four points, leaving Porto without a point after three matches.
