Le doublé de Rodríguez laisse Celtic sans point

Celtic 1–2 Celta Vigo

Two goals in three minutes from Javi Rodríguez overturned Celtic’s lead and sent Celta towards their first victory.

Mika Baur put the hosts ahead in the 47th minute, and Liam Scales came close to doubling the lead when his header from Haissem Hassan’s cross struck the bar in the 63rd.

Rodríguez instead headed Celta level from Hugo Álvarez’s delivery in the 68th minute, then scored again from outside the area in the 71st. Celtic were left with a third consecutive defeat, while Celta departed Glasgow with their first win of the league phase.
