The Egyptian scores his first Spurs goal in a 3–1 home victory over Coventry City.
Omar Marmoush scored his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur as they beat Coventry City 3–1 to claim their first Premier League win of the season.
James Maddison opened the scoring in the 14th minute, giving the home side a lead they held until the break. Coventry fought back early in the second half, with Jack Rudoni making it 1–1 in the 50th minute.
The visitors were level for just eight minutes. Marmoush struck a powerful shot to put Tottenham back in front, marking his first goal for the club since joining on loan from Manchester City at the start of the season.
Ben Davies added the third in the sixth minute of stoppage time, ending Coventry’s hopes of taking a point and securing a much-needed win for Spurs.
The result moves Tottenham into 16th place with six points from seven matches. Newly promoted Coventry sit one place below them, separated by goal difference.
